Devshayani Ekadashi 2024 Significance: Devshayanti Ekadashi Vrat is observed on the eleventh day of the Shukla Paksha in the Hindu month of Ashadha. Ashadi Ekadashi, Maha Ekadashi, Toli Ekadashi, Padma Ekadashi, Devpodhi Ekadashi, and Hari Sayana Ekadasi are some more names for this significant Ekadashi vrat. This day marks the conclusion of Maharashtra’s yearly Padharpur Yatra or sacred pilgrimage to the Padharpur temple. This day is known as Toli Ekadashi in South India. On this day, it is believed that Lord Vishnu enters a four-month-long deep sleep in the Ksheer Sagar (milky ocean). As a result, it is said that this day is perfect for offering prayers to Lord Vishnu and Mata Mahalakshmi
